The set of rules that the U.S. federal government is bound by to make sure that no one branch of the government becomes too powerful is called the system of checks and balances. In other words, each branch of the government is balanced because each branch has its own set of authoritative functions and responsibilities. However, each branch also has within its abilities checks that limit or prevent other branches from becoming too influential. We have each branch performing checks on each other to make sure their is an unbiased approach to what needs to be done.

This is my ideal classroom. I have two equally sized desks, that way my co-teacher is viewed as an equal in my classroom. I have the students grouped in fours that way they can collaborate more effectively. I also will be renting laptops out for our classroom, that way each student is able to access and utilize technology. This room has two smart boards, because of its size. That way if my co-teacher and I decide to split up our groups of students, we can utilize our interactive technology with each set of students. I also have these pod desks which allow students to working independently as they need to. Then in the back left corner is where our sensory breaks take place and where students can go if they need to mentally "chill out". This is a safe space for my students. Then we have our "u" shaped table which allows the students to be in collaboration with either the co-teacher or me. We also have a book case which will allow the students access to plenty of reading material to ensure they are developing their literacy skills. Then the tall storage closet will be used for storing instructional material.
In my class room, I will have my students be heterogeneously grouped. They will be utilizing multiple resources in the classroom such as the laptops in which they can start writing their rough drafts or pre-writing on the Google doc. application. This will allow me to monitor them all at once on this assignment. This allows me to see who is on the right track, who hasn't even started it and puts an end to "I worked on it at home, but I left it." Being able to see whop has been working on what helps me know who is doing what. This is a classroom based on trust, I will start everyone off with a clean slate, however, if they loose my trust they have to earn it back. I am going to be very real with them. I will explain to them how the real world applications of the lessons we are learning about. Educating students in my classroom means I need to be prepared for anything and that Technology needs play an important role to be captivate them.
